Minimum age requirement: 25 years old with a minimum of 2 years of driving license experience. For drivers aged 21 to 24, an additional fee applies as they are considered young drivers.

When you rent a car with an excess, it implies that the amount blocked or charged under this term will not be refunded in the event of any mishap. At Canarias.com, our vehicles come with fully comprehensive insurance with no excess, except for young drivers (21 to 24 years old), who have an excess of €200. Cargo vans have a €300 excess. Please refer to the general conditions below for further details.

If your reservation is in Tenerife and you choose to rent with us, payment can be made at the time of vehicle pickup. However, opting for the prepaid option during booking entitles you to a discount. Additionally, registering as a client, providing details such as driver's license number and expiration date, expedites the vehicle pickup process at the airport. We accept payments via credit card, debit card, or cash, making it convenient for you.

For reservations at Tenerife airports, a €100 deposit on a credit card in the driver's name is required upon vehicle pickup. This deposit will be refunded upon returning the car in accordance with the agreed conditions (fuel level and compliance with the return procedure). A credit card in the name of the vehicle driver is mandatory, with the possibility of reserving the right to request two credit cards in their name.

To collect your rental vehicle, please bring the confirmation voucher received via email upon reservation (printing is not necessary), along with your valid driver's license and an identity card or passport. 

We provide vehicles with a specified level of gasoline, which should remain the same upon return of the vehicle. However, if you prefer the convenience of picking up the car with a full tank and returning it empty, you can opt for the "Full Tank" option and skip the hassle of searching for gas stations.

Taking the car off the island of Tenerife is not permitted.

We offer free delivery service at Sur Reina Sofia and Norte Los Rodeos Airports from 09:00 to 19:30.
For deliveries during nighttime hours (19:30 to 08:50), there's an additional supplement already included in the web price when selecting this time. In the case of delayed arrivals after 19:30 at Tenerife North and South Airports, a €25 supplement will be applied to the total rental cost. (This supplement is included in the web price if the specified time has been indicated).

Please note that in the event of an accident or damage to the car you should always contact the supplier immediately. You will need to fill out an accident or damage report form for insurance, otherwise you may not be covered.

Yes, you can add additional drivers to the rental agreement. However, please note that there is an additional cost associated with this service.
